Wednesday - Our travels took us to Pennsylvania today and the Gettysburg battlefield.  After a visit to the cyclorama we picked up a guide and headed to the battlefield for a tour.  The evening found us visiting the Shriver House in Gettysburg and dinner at the Dobbin House Tavern; a resting spot along the Underground Railroad.

Tuesday

Today we awoke to clear skies and sunshine.  Our first stop was Arlington National Cemetery and a presentation of a wreath at the tomb of the unknown soldier.  Our representatives did a great job and the video is posted at this link:

Our next stop was Union Station for a quick lunch.  Next it was off to the Holocaust museum.  The afternoon found us stopping off for a few photo ops at the White House, Lincoln, Vietnam and Korean Memorials.  The day finished with a little seafood overlooking the Potomac.

Day 3-
Still Snowy in the morning but there was lots to do.  A trip to the Air Force Memorial and Iwo Jima. Then off to the Smithsonians for a day at the museums.  Finally an evening stroll through the Franklin and Jefferson Memorials.

Day 2- Looks like we brought the snow with us from Denver but it wasn't going to stop us.  Along the way we explored Colonial Williamsburg, checked out Monticello and the University of Virginia.  Finished the day with the drive up to D.C.
